'Dana, please take the job!' Trump's plea to UFC CEO Dana White to take White House Secretary role
Donald Trump has offered the President and CEO of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) the role of White House Secretary.
President Donald Trump has offered the President and CEO of the UFC the role of White House Secretary.
In a statement on Truth Social, President Trump said "I am pleased to announce that the Great Dana White, a violent Fighter and Warrior, has been offered the job of Press Secretary of the United States. I have requested that he bring with him assistants, even though some are not from our Country, of Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes, and Kayla Harris. We need these people to defend us against the Lunatic Left. Dana will be a Press Secretary like none other. Dana, please take the job!"

Trump also asked for six current or former UFC titleholders to join White, including Islam Makhachev and Khabib Nurmagomedov, Americans Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier and "Kayla Harris," likely Kayla Harrison, and Amanda Nunes, a Brazilian who recently gained US citizenship.
The vacancy for White House press secretary has been open since mid-October, when Katie Zacharia exited after just 5 days in the role.

However, it is unclear whether the president's public job offer is genuine. Neither the White House nor the UFC have officially confirmed whether the offer was intended as a serious administrative plan or a joke.
